THE PURPOSE
Before Deaf Talent® became a hashtag movement, our team, who are change makers, have joined force and is calling for inclusion and representation of BIPOC Creators and Deaf Talent® cast in roles in mainstream film & television.
Before Deaf Talent became a hashtag movement, our team, who are change makers, have joined force and is calling for inclusion and representation of POC & Black Deaf Talent cast in roles in mainstream film & television.
THE PURPOSE
-
to elevate the awareness of deaf talents who are Black and BIPOC, including those with other intersectional identities and ethnicities (i.e. LGBT+),
-
to increase the numbers of deaf talents who are Black and BIPOC, including those with other intersectional identities and ethnicities, i.e. (LGBT+) in front of and behind the camera,
-
to eradicate discriminatory biases that lead to exclusion of who are Black and BIPOC, including those with other intersectional identities and ethnicities, (i.e. LGBT+),
-
to promote opportunities and equal employment of deaf talents who are Black and BIPOC, including those with other intersectional identities and ethnicities, (LGBT+) in film and television.

to address misrepresentation of our work to achieve aforementioned goals (or objectives/mission), and

to promote public awareness of the need for social and cultural representations and accessibility in entertainment and media.

WHEN DIVERSITY & INCLUSION MATTER
